December 2011

This year Christmas was a little different. My family was gone to Europe visiting Keith and Natalie, so it gave us a little more time to spend with Chad's family over the break!

We went to dinner at the Timbermine for Whitney's birthday. It was so good, and we were able to get some family pictures while we were there.

Birthday Girl!

The engaged couple!

    Bowling!

Soon after we got back from California, Kyle and Emily came out for their Christmas vacation.
I think Hadley was the best bowler of the night!

    Best Friends

    We are sad and then....

    Happy!

    Best bowler there... STRIKE!

    Cute Linc!

    Lincoln!

Kyle and Emily had Lincoln's baby blessing the beginning of December, so Chad and I decided to fly out to California for it. We had so much fun getting entertained by Hadley and little Lincoln. We wished we lived closer so we could see them all more often!

    Cutest little guy ever!!!

    Such a cute family!

Everyone that was at the blessing
ps Thanks for the pictures Emily:)

    Drew & Lindsay

I really am not very good at keeping up on this blogging thing! But a lot has happened in the past few months, so let me do some up-dating:

First, Lindsay and Drew were married August 9th, 2011.
Their wedding and reception were beautiful!

    The 2 Year Mark!

I can not believe Chad and I have been married 2 years now! To celebrate, Chad surprised me by planning an amazing trip to Hawaii. Neither of us had been there before so we had a lot to see!

    View from our hotel room

On Sunday we decided to drive up to see the temple and BYU-Hawaii.
It was raining so we only got a few pictures of the campus from our car.

I have always loved the Hawaii Temple and was so
excited to actually see it in person!

    Chad at the Dole Plantation

Chad was so excited to see the Banzai Pipeline....and was a little bummed
when this was all we saw.
Lets just say we might go back for Christmas so we can see them get a little bigger:) I wish!

These little crabs were all over the rocks on the
    beach next to our hotel

This made my day! It's really hard to see,
    but we saw these
    turtles swimming in the waves

We got to see a couple of these turtles up close
after they had crawled up onto the beach

While we waited for there to be some parking at Hanauma Bay,
we found the most amazing beach...
unfortunately this is the only picture we have of it.

Our last night there we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center,
    and this was our dinner....
    Appetizing right:)

One more view from our room...if you can't tell, I couldn't get enough of this view!

The Sting Ray pool at our hotel

There were also Hammer Head sharks next to the Sting Ray Pool

Before we caught our flight home, we stopped by Pearl Harbor.
